New Pollinator Link … Mt Gravatt East

MGESS Pollinator Link

Sunday 13 September will be our first working bee, here’s hoping it’ll be a blast. The holes will all be drilled beforehand, ready for everyone to put their plants in. Then we can stand back and all admire our handiwork while enjoying a sausage sizzle for lunch. The Brisbane City Council have provided us with one hundred very healthy plants, and Bunnings have provided us with some goodies for the day as well!
Thanks goes to Bunnings Mt Gravatt East for their amazing donation of a whole heap of things which will go a long way on Sunday morning. Here is what they gave us:

  • Native plants;
  • Lots of buckets;
  • A heap of garden gloves;
  • Water crystals;
  • A BIG bottle of Seasol;
  • Osmocote slow release native plant fertiliser;
  • Hand tools galore; and
  • Two shovels.

Furthermore, we briefly discussed further contributions and ideas for the future. Fun times ahead!
